Return & Refund Policy

We want you to shop with confidence at Tessa's Tale Publishing while keeping in mind that we are a small business. Here's how our policy works:

Cancellations Before Shipping: You can cancel your order anytime before it ships for a full refund minus 3% of the order total (pesky credit card fees). Personalized and custom items have different rules; see below.
After a Shipping Label Is Created: If a shipping label has already been purchased (meaning a tracking number has been generated), we'll refund your order minus the cost of that label + 3% of the order total.
After Shipment: Once your order has shipped, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or issue refunds, except for damaged or defective items as described below.
Gift Cards: Gift cards are nonrefundable.

Personalized & Custom Orders

Personalized items (such as names or dates) and custom orders (such as special colors, logos, custom designs, or bulk and business orders) are made specifically for you.

These orders can be canceled only before production begins. Once we've started making your item, it can't be canceled, returned or refunded.
Please double-check spelling, dates, colors and other details before checkout. We make items exactly as entered and can't offer refunds or replacements for errors in the information provided.
Because our pieces are 3D printed by hand, slight variations in color, texture and finish between batches are normal and are not considered defects.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging. Once we review the photos, we'll send a replacement or issue a refund for the affected item. We may ask you to keep the damaged item or return it, depending on the situation.
